Whats ThesCon?
ThesCon, or the Colorado State Thespian Conference, is a three-day convention that takes place every year in December. At ThesCon, students are able to take master classes from renowned members of the theater community on auditioning, singing, acting, dancing, directing, stage managing, and much more.

The International Thespian Excellence Awards (or Thespys® for short) recognize the highest level of achievement in school theatre performance, technical theatre, writing, and filmmaking.
How do I get thespian points?

Thespian membership will be awarded on a democratic basis to all students who qualify according to the requirements of the point system.

Students meet one important induction requirement by earning Thespian points. These are awarded based on the quality and quantity of work they perform in theatre and related disciplines. “Quality” may include the caliber of the work done and the educational value of the experience.

Membership currently stands at approximately 139,000 student members across 5,000 schools. The one millionth Thespian was inducted in 1976 and the two millionth Thespian was inducted in 2009. As of 2019, there have been over 2.4 million Thespians inducted.
