How do you mix SBR latex?
Mix SBR LATEX (M) : water in a 1 : 1 ratio. Use a maximum of 25 ltr of this solution in a mix containing 50 kg of cement and 150 kg of sand. This will yield approximately 100 litres of mortar which will cover 10 m2 to a thickness of 10 mm.

Is SBR the same as neoprene?
SBR foam is similar to neoprene foam and can be lined with nylon or polyester to get the same appearance as a normal neoprene wetsuit. However, SBR foam has poor elongation capabilities and is hardly ozone or chemical resistant. This is why manufacturers mainly use SBR foam in very cheap and poor quality wetsuits.
Is SBR rubber vulcanized?
All types of SBR are vulcanized using the same vulcanization agents as for natural rubber. Styrene-butadiene rubber can be vulcanized using sulfur, sulfur donor systems and peroxides.
How do you SBR a concrete?
Mix 1 part by volume SBR with 1.5 parts fresh Portland cement to produce a stiff grout. Scrub this grout on to the pre dampened concrete or wall. DO NOT allow to dry prior to the application of subsequent layers.
How do you use SBR on paving slabs?
Add the SBR to the dry cement mix slowly while mixing to avoid lumps, continue until you achieve a gloopy consistency that coats the back of the paver. If the paving is very light in colour and is prone to absorption, we do recommend using a white cement, this will minimise the risk of discoloration.
