What does Humminbird 360 do?
Like underwater radar, the MEGA 360 Imaging beam rotates giving you a 360-degree view of the water that’s constantly updating—with your boat at the center. Fish won’t ever see you coming–allowing you to cast and hook fish before they even know you’re there.

What do I need to run Humminbird 360?
You need to following components to run Humminbird 360 on your boat:
- Humminbird Mega 360 transducer.
- Compatible mount (usually sold together with the transducer)
- Compatible Humminbird head unit.
Is there a difference between 360 and Mega 360?
What is the difference between Mega 360 and 360? While the original Humminbird 360 transducer (released in early 2012) uses non Mega CHIRP with a wavelength of 455 kHz, the Humminbird Mega 360 transducer (released in late 2018) uses Mega CHIRP with a wavelength of 1200 kHz, which generates much higher image resolution.
Does Humminbird 360 have Down Imaging?
With traditional Humminbird Down and Side Imaging®, anglers have the ability to view sonar returns directly below and to the side of their boats. Since it’s introduction, Humminbird 360 Imaging® has allowed anglers to see an expanded view of the water not only beneath and to the sides but all around their boat.

One of the best things about the Humminbird MEGA 360 is that it’s so versatile and so useful that it can be used by both amateur and tournament offshore anglers. This imaging system can be used in both shallow and deep water, making it far more marketable to a broader community of anglers.
What units will Humminbird 360 work with?
Humminbird Mega 360 is compatible with all Humminbird fish finder units that have Mega plus imaging functionality. This includes all Apex units, Gen 2 and 3 Solix units, and Gen 3 and 4 Helix units that come with either Mega DI+ or Mega SI+.
Can Mega live and 360 be on same unit?
Yes. HW, HW/MEGA DI+, HW/MEGA DI+/MEGA SI+ imaging transducers can be connected in conjunction with the MEGA 360. Built-In MEGA DI+ from a Minn Kota trolling motor can also be connected at the same time as a MEGA 360. A transducer splitter cable is needed to do this.
Can you run Mega 360 and Mega live at the same time?
You can view MEGA LIVE and MEGA 360 at the same time with a SOLIX, you cannot do that with a Helix. You can view LIVE on a SOLIX and a Helix at the same time since LIVE is an Ethernet device.
What Helix is compatible with 360?
Once connected to a compatible HELIX G3N unit with MEGA Imaging+ or SOLIX G2 unit, MEGA 360 Imaging view can be shared with All SOLIX models, and all HELIX G2N and G3N models when connected via an Ethernet network.
