Does Disney Do FastPasses 2021?
No. There is no more FastPass, and none of its replacements are free. There’s no longer a free skip-the-line system at Disney World. Your only options are Genie+ ($15+tax per person per day) and the individual Lightning Lanes.
Is Disney lightning pass available?
This option is available for all Guests—with or without Disney Genie+ service. For some of our most highly demanded attractions, Lightning Lane entrance access is available to purchase individually. Guests may purchase and select an arrival window one at a time for up to 2 attractions a day.

Prices will vary by attraction and day of year, and Disney may not release this information in advance. However, so far Individual Lightning Lane pricing has ranged from $7 to $15 per person per ride, with many attractions costing a couple dollars more (but still within that range) on weekends vs. mid-week.

You can only book Lightning Lanes one at at time. Unlike with the old Fastpass system, Genie Plus Lightning Lanes can only booked one at a time. You must badge in to the attraction before you can book your next one. There is a loophole to this process that we’ll explain a little later in the post.
Does Disneyland still have paper Fastpasses?
Paper FastPass at Walt Disney World ended in 2014. In 2017, MaxPass was launched at Disneyland. When the parks closed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, both FastPass and MaxPass were suspended.

The Lightning Lane entrance gets you right to the room where the experience really starts and where you see the first characters in the attraction. Because this experience is so popular, so lengthy, and so mind-blowing, it can really feel worth it to put down the cash to skip a line that can easily be 90-120 minutes.
Is the lightning pass worth it?
Especially on more crowded days, Individual Lightning Lane can save you 60-120 minutes in line. With pricing hovering between $10-$12, saving an extra hour or two for your day at Magic Kingdom could be worth it. Buying for the middle of the day makes the most sense, as it will save you the most time on average.

How much does a genie pass cost?
$15 per person
Genie+ costs $15 per person, per day. You can purchase the Genie+ option before your trip along with your park tickets, or on specific days of your visit. If purchased in advance, the $15 fee (after tax, it’s $15.98) is charged for every person who will use Genie+, for every ticketed day of your trip.
