- Shangri-La, although not as large as Call of the Dead, is a moderately sized map with multiple areas and tight spots that are easy to get cornered in.
- A new Wonder Weapon, the 31-79 JGb215 makes its debut in this map.
- Two new zombies are introduced, the Napalm Zombie and the Shrieker Zombie.
What are napalm Zombies?
The Napalm Zombie is a new type of zombie in the map Shangri-La. The Napalm Zombie takes much more damage than a regular zombie. It shoots fire (Naplam) around it which burns for a few seconds on the ground. The Napalm Zombie moves slower than other zombies, use that to your advantage and do not get close.
Where does Shangri-La take place Zombies?
Shangri-La is the fifth Zombie Map for Call of Duty Black Ops. Shangri-La takes place in a Temple-like area surrounded by a thick jungle. Unlike many of the other maps, this map takes place in the middle of the day. There is a ground floor and a set of caves that make up the entire map.
Does Shangri-La have an Easter egg?
Time Travel Will Tell is the easter egg featured in Shangri-La, where the characters help two explorers stuck in a time loop. The player does not need to get the Focusing Stone as long as it is picked up by another player.
What do monkeys do in Shangri-La?
Monkeys return in Shangri-La, but this time they are zombified and act a bit differently. This time they will try and steal any Power-Ups the zombies drop. Once they steal the power-up, it will change every second or so until you kill the monkey that took it.

Can you do Shangri-La Easter Egg solo?
The Easter Egg requires four players to be present in the game and is NOT possible SOLO – simply because the Eclipse mode requires four buttons to be pressed simultaneously.
Can Shangri-La be done solo?
Shangri-La: On solo, you only need to step on each plate in one side of the map for one of the steps, slide down the water slide by yourself for another step, and thats about it.
