Yankee Candle have finally confirmed they are to stop production of their classic Wax Melts/Tarts, The 22gram compressed wax bead tarts have been a great way to try fragrances out, In fact in 2013 we originally invented our Wax Crumble Pots as a way for people to try fragrances not available in wax tart format.

Can you use other wax melts in Yankee Candle warmer?
After you have removed the melt cup wax, you can reuse the plastic cups to melt other wax melts! These cups will hold quite a bit of wax, so you can fill it to your heart’s desire. Since the Scenterpiece® is a lower wattage melter, it will melt the wax a bit slower and you’ll notice that the scent lasts a bit longer.
Can you use any wax melts in Yankee Candle warmer?
It should be used with Yankee Candle MELTCUPS, not wax melts. Meltcups allow you to lift the whole cup out to replace the scent. Wax melts are not in a container and would be difficult to remove. Wax melts may also drip into the unit through the crevice around the warmer plate, and ruin the warmer.
