Can Azodyl be given with other medications?
There are no known drug interactions with Azodyl®; however, vitamins, herbal therapies, and supplements have the potential to interact with each other, as well as with prescription and over the counter medications.
What is Azodyl used for?
Azodyl is a patented formulation of naturally-occurring beneficial bacteria that metabolizes and flushes out uremic toxins that have diffused into the bowel. It supports kidney function by providing natural enteric dialysis and slows down uremic toxin buildup in the blood to help prevent further kidney damage.
Does Azodyl have to be given on an empty stomach?

Is Azodyl still good if left out overnight?

Why does Azodyl need to be refrigerated?
The urea hydrolytic activity remained at least at 50% even under the 45 degree conditions. We recommend refrigeration as we are concerned that there may be a cumulative effect of temperature elevations over time.
